In 2013, Dromon has commenced in cooperation with TIMS the amendment of its quality system for the implementation of ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard.  The decision to implement this standard was taken after the new Code of Recognized Organizations (RO Code) has been adopted on June 21, 2013 by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).  The newly RO Code has a lot of common requirements with the ISO 17020:2012 standard. Therefore, Dromon considered vital the implementation and accreditation against this standard to be in full compliance with the requirements of the Code.

In 2014 Dromon Quality Management System has been successfully accredited by Cyprus Accreditation Body as meeting the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard.

Through the Organization’s new Quality Management System Dromon ensures that it provides improved services, process and service quality, increase customer satisfaction, improve productivity and competitive advantage.  Through the amended quality system and this accreditation Dromon clearly demonstrates the Organization’s commitment to quality.
